But IO9 has really been thinking about the Terminator Franchise lately. They have a breakdown of the 10 Different Timelines From The Terminator Universes. Documenting what has caused the branches in the timelines, and where they fall in the Terminator universe.

It’s quite impressive the work that they have done, and they even have sent the information to the Producer of the SCC, and received some interesting feedback.
