A car full of people dressed as zombies crashed in Portland, Ore., Friday night, leading to a bit of confusion by rescue workers over just how badly the occupants were (or were not) injured:
“Sgt. Greg Stewart said people who witnessed the crash initially thought the victims’ injuries were much more serious, because of the zombie costumes. ‘We’re glad that everyone is alive, despite being “undead”,’ Sgt. Stewart said, referring to the costumes.”
You can read more details of the crash here, but it seems no one was actually seriously injured. There is a possibility that one or more zombies fled the scene on foot, though if they’re “slow zombies” no one has much to worry about.
